Like most robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work in order to get started, including setting up an account on the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once that's done, though the robot can begin cleaning and mopping easily.
It is important to remember that the mapping process could take a while and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has an accurate image of your space. In addition the detection of objects can be difficult to determine It was able to skim over furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a loose tassel rug and had to flip its back to release itself. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those in need of an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do everything.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in one home cleaning solution. Its mopping technology is advanced and features the ability to rotate in a manner similar to hand scrubbing, which results in floors that are actually cleaned, not just being swept. The vacuum stick that can be detached is an absolute game changer that can reach places even a robot vacuum cannot.
The model is basically the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with a slightly higher suction power of 8700Pa, and a few additional smart features. The Eufy S1 Pro is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that comes with impressive features at a reasonable price. It features a powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotary floor brush for carpets, and a fantastic obstacle-avoiding. It also has an unique mopping method that uses a roller constantly spraying with water to collect dirt and then deposit it in the water tank.
Its navigation system performed well. It stayed clear of stairs and navigated close to walls without falling. It was unable to handle small particles and did not always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. The operating noise level is also relatively high, which suggests it could be less of a set-and-forget model than some.
As with most robotic vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that lets you refill its clean water as well as empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to a regular schedule. This robot is just a few hundred dollars more than the S8 and does an excellent job of keeping my office clean. It is also able to reach the corners of my tiny apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to create a map of your home which allows it to know which areas to avoid. In addition, unlike other vacuums that can mop it also has detection of objects and obstructions that avoids items such as dog toys and bowls (but not poop).
Other great features include a self-emptying dustbin as well as a mop that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops miss. You can also set your own cleaning schedule in the app and customize the settings for each room in your home.
Like the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping, and can differentiate between laminate flooring, carpets and hardwood rugs with high-pile. If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that can handle both regular daily maintenance and touch-ups for messy messes that are wet, this robot is an excellent choice. It comes with a variety of features, including a self emptying dustbin as well as a dock that can be used for refilling water, and customizable settings via the app. It's extremely quiet and is able to easily move around furniture legs or socks. However, it isn't able to remove the tangled tassels of rugs, and its battery drains more quickly than other models in our tests.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a beast that comes with powerful suction and convenient automation, all in a sleek and stylish. It didn't score quite as well in our mopping and mopping tests like the expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however, it did extremely well overall. It also comes with a range of cleaning modes to suit your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for lightweight debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for rooms with carpet. It will even remove and reconnect the mop pads, and not leave your carpets soaked.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for those who live in small spaces. budget robot vacuum and quiet and it is able to navigate tight spaces with ease. It is also very good at removing pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than most of its competitors however it doesn't sacrifice features. It has good suction power and can be programmed to take photos of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys), and mark them in the app as "not located' so that they won't be taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secured and not tied to your account.
It's great at vacuuming, but it's not so great at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that you clip to the bot's bottom, and it essentially drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
